Here’s a piece that I did using modo

Baker Corp needed to show their filtration equipment in action. Their process of taking toxic water and making clean.

This blog entry will explore how this info-graphic was created. So let’s get started.

CAD files and Diagrams were used to create a flow chart. This was laid out in a rough 3D illustration. The engineers checked for accuracy and made revisions.

Then the detailed 3D work began: Painting textures, Placing models of rocks, trees and grass, and modeling the landscape.

The rough models were replaced by realistic models. Some of these came from detailed CAD files.

Because it was all in 3D the files were flexible enough to make changes at any point in the process.
